All proceeds help fund scholarships for Veterans and children who are living with a traumatic brain injury. The J Field Foundation scholarships provide riding sessions at Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship in Bedford Corners, New York.

We are wowed by the life-changing work being done at Endeavor, and we are proud to collaborate with them. Always looking for the best ways to achieve our goals, we were thrilled when our dear friend, Stanley Trotman, introduced us to Emily Bushnell.

Along with other experienced horse people, Emily founded the nonprofit in 2014. A certified instructor, Emily also serves as the organization’s Executive Director.

When Emily and I first spoke, she shared with me what a Veteran at Endeavor told her: "This program not only changed my life, but it saved my life."

Endeavor helps children and adults living with physical, emotional and/or mental challenges. Last year the organization served over 300 Veterans; half of them living with traumatic brain injuries. I have seen the magic that happens between people and horses. After all I’ve learned about Endeavor, I wish it had been around during my early years of recovery.

From our very first contact, we knew a very special match had just been made. Thank you, Stanley and Emily and all who support those who need a helping hand.

Every year, we give thanks to Patrick and Lisa Foley and their families and friends who founded this tournament after Patrick sustained a traumatic brain injury in a car accident. The Foleys then gifted the Foley Strong Golf Tournament to the J Field Foundation in 2019 because the couple wanted to help others living with traumatic brain injuries. Beyond generous.
